Elgar can meet your requirements for sliced or diced apple. We can also
supply your IQF fruit requirements to help you reduce the number of suppliers you need and reduce complexity in your business.

Applications
Elgar prepared apple is perfect for decoration of flans and tarts, whilst our IQF fruits are suitable for all manner of applications.

Product Options
Prepared apple is available in 8, 12 and 14 segments, 10 and 13mm cubes, irregular “kitchen cut”, halved apples and apple rings preserved in SO2 solution or ascorbic acid depending on whether the fruit will be cooked or uncooked in the end application. Meanwhile, IQF fruits are available in whole or diced format as requested. We are also able to source “organic” fruit preparations.

 

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Shelf life
Prepared apple products preserved with SO2 or ascorbic acid are supplied chilled with up to 3 weeks shelf life at 0ºC to 4ºC. Meanwhile our IQF fruits are supplied frozen with a shelf life of 24 months at –18ºC.
